**I had a hypersensitive, fair skin in my early teens. My skin was dry and severely flaking, had severe sun damage, discolorations, blotches, large pores, many blackheads and whiteheads, pimples and scars. I found cause was mainly harsh soaps and also shampoos that gave me severe flaking scalp and harmed facial skin. I switched to hair and face washing with a mild natural bar soap with no additives, no colorings, no fragrances and healing started. Healing was very much hastened by vigorous massaging with essential oils. To do vigorously first tighten face by opening mouth 3/4" and pulling lips firmly back against teeth. Do a forward and back massage with tips and front and sides of fingers and palms, depending where on face applying. Circular massage is not effective. Gradually build up to vigorous as skin has to adjust. Initially face and hands may ache but also quickly adjust. If do a daily 30 min massage(can be in two or more sessions) you will get dramatic results. In first few days blackheads, whiteheads and pores will vanish or greatly diminish. Skin will quickly become smoother, softer, tighter and look and feel revitalized and develop a healthy glow. Keep it up and It will become totally blemish free. Oils are perfect moisturizers so do not remove. Lightly wash off excess with water and dab dry with tissues.
Treatment also cured skin hyper sensitivity.
We are always being told that high spf sunscreens are bad for skin. After massaging with oil, apply sunscreen on top of oil. The oil acts as a barrier. Surprisingly it is equally if not more effective. I often spend many hours a day in blistering Mexican sun with just one application of spf 15 and never burn.
OILS: I had great results with olive. Best for some acne prone skins are lavender, rosewood, bergamot. They do not clog, cause breakouts and they lessen skin's production of oils. They are strong and need diluting 25/75 or 50/50 with grapeseed, almond or olive oil.
Many have benefited on Answers from treatment. Here is a report from one of them.

wannabeblue28: "Hi Mukunda M. I have just been rubbing my face and neck with the ridges of my fingers and hands. It has made a HUGE difference in my complexion after just one night. ...... my skin looks so much tighter and i no longer have bags under my eyes! Thank you so much for your post, I have been suffering with acne and under-eye circles since i was young."

Here's what I do, and I have healthy, clear skin that stays.
-Morning: Wash face with a gentle cleanser, pat dry. Apply Clean and Clear Morning Burst moisturizer, or something with SPF in it. Apply Lubriderm Seriously Sensitive Lotion in a thin layer all over. Finish with a thin layer of Benza Clin(it's a prescription med.) in a thin layer all over. Don't wear alot of makeup on you skin.
Night: Same thing.

Wash your face with plain water. Wash cloth with hot water then with cold water. dry it then use a little moisturizer on it . do this mornings and at nite you'll see the differance within a week. Your skin gets oily because its dry, so it produces the oil that clogs your pores. so if you wash and moisturizer you'll have health skin.

I'm a 27 years old male. I believe in taking care of myself and a balanced diet and rigorous exercise routine. In the morning if my face is a little puffy I'll put on an ice pack while doing stomach crunches. I can do 1000 now. After I remove the ice pack I use a deep pore cleanser lotion. In the shower I use a water activated gel cleanser, then a honey almond body scrub, and on the face an exfoliating gel scrub. Then I apply an herb-mint facial mask which I leave on for 10 minutes while I prepare the rest of my routine. I always use an after shave lotion with little or no alcohol, because alcohol dries your face out and makes you look older. Then moisturizer, then an anti-aging eye balm followed by a final moisturizing protective lotion.

Here are some tips for beautiful skin :

* Don't go to bed with makeup on. Makeup left on overnight seeps into your pores, clogs them, and congests your skin. Make sure that you wash your face twice at the end of the day. Once to get the makeup off. A second time to wash the skin itself.

* Exfoliate daily. After washing your face at night, be sure to exfoliate. Use a delicate scrub. If you don't have one on hand, a tablespoon of sugar or oatmeal will work just fine.

* Use facial masks regularly. If possible, everyday is ideal. Again, if you don't have one on hand, make your own. Mashed banana or avocado is good. Plain yogurt also works well.

* Keep a treatment and moisturizer on your face, day or night. Put your skin first. After you wash it at night, put on some kind of skin treatment, whether it's alpha hydroxy acids, vitamin A or C, or any kind of special cocktail treatment. Let that sink in, then put a moisturizer over that. In the morning, do the same.

* Don't use the cheapest or most expensive cosmetics. Mom tells me that moderately priced cosmetics are the best. They get the job done, and the ingredients are usually pretty good. You have to keep trying various brands until you find something that works well for you.

* Hydrate your face throughout the day. Whether it's a commercial product, or one you make yourself (fill a spray bottle with distilled water, add a few drops of chamomile or rose essential oil, shake it gently before each use, and spray it on) hydrate your face, even over makeup, frequently throughout the day.

* Treat your face gently. Never pull, tug, or scrub your facial skin. Be very gentle when you clean it, moisturize it or makeup on it. This will lessen the chance that you'll damage your skin and get wrinkles.

* Keep your face covered when you're in the sun. As beautiful as she is, my mom never lets anyone see her face when she's in the sun. She'll slather on a high factor sunscreen, put on sunglasses, and a wide brimmed hat.

* Eat fresh foods and drink lots of water. My mom tells me to stay away from "dead food" food that's basically not fresh. She always eat lots of veggies, fruits, nuts, and drinks tons of water.

* Let go of stress. Stress can show up on your face, no matter how well you take care of your skin. Do something your enjoy everyday, whether it's watching TV or going shopping. Your face reflects what's going on inside of your mind.

Hope i could help ♥

You should always use a cleanser, followed by a toner, and then a moisturizer twice a day. For the a.m., your moisturizer should contain an SPF, preferably 15. Then, you can follow with the acne cream, but only use it on your breakouts as directed by your doctor. Since your face is dry, but it also breaks out, you should use products made for combination skin.

I use Mary Kay, Creamy Cleanser, Toner, and Moisturizer for Combination Skin because my forehead and cheeks and chin breakout a lot, but the rest of my skin stays dry. This is the only brand that I use. I find that acne products really don't help with my acne, but a good skin care plan always helps.

Plus, good skin starts on the inside. So, be sure to eat well, drink plenty of water, take a multi-vitamin and workout daily. But always wash your face after working out. Getting enough rest also helps the skin.

Remember that good skin is an inside and outside job. I hope that the sources below help.

I have/had issues with my skin big time. I would be dry and flakey, oily in areas creating blackheads, acne, whiteheads. Ugh, and during THAT time of the month? Forget it.

I've recently started a new treatment, which mainly has been all about diet along with some of my favorite products and my skin is FABULOUS. I can't even tell you. This morning I looked in the mirror and it was GLOWING. My skin tone was even, no red patches, no bumps, small pores, blackheads are almost entirely gone.

Here is everything I use and WHEN I use it.

1. Aveeno Clear Complexion Daily Cleansing Pads w/ Salycilic acid. I use these at night to get rid of all the dirt and oil that has accumulated throughout the day.

2. Neutrogena Blackhead Clearing 2 in 1 Pads: I use these TWICE a week. They are very strong and when I used them daily they actually made me break out more, but they really helped with the blackheads, so I cut back to using this pad at night only 2x per week.

3. Biore Blemish Fighting Ice Cleaner: I use this in the MORNING 2x per week. I tend to use a lot of products so I alternate days so I'm not going too crazy. One morning I'll wake up and just rinse my face with warm water, the next day I'll use this stuff, the next day just warm water, and so forth.

4. Proactive Refining Mask: I find this stuff in the mall on the Proactive carts. I hate Proactive, would never recommend it but the Refining Mask is GOLDEN for spot treatments if you break out. It's a sulfur based mask which is PHENOMENAL at drying out acne over night and making it noticeablly smaller and less red by morning. You can use it either as spot treatment, OR as an entire face mask. I do it both ways and actually sleep with this stuff on my face. It's gentle and doesn't leave red blotches on my skin that other spot treatments do.

5. Olay Regenerist Microdermabrasion: I use this ONCE every two weeks. It is a great scrub to get rid of the dull surface skin cells, to turn over skin and to get the baby butt skin hiding underneath. It smooths, evens skin tone, and makes your face super soft.

6. I've been drinking 1 Liter of water PER day. I get a gigantic Poland Spring and keep it with me all day.

7. I've been cutting out red meat. I eat lean meats, turkey, chicken, tuna fish, and eating fruits and vegetables every single day. In the morning I'll have a mix of blueberries, raspberries, blackberries and strawberries, these fruits are LOADED with antioxidants which clear your skin of impurities. Lunch, i'll have lean meat, tomatoes, eggplants, apples, and a snack of some almonds.

I've literally cut out ALL garbage from my diet. No cookies, chips, cakes, pasteries, donuts, etc. You'll be surprised, I thought it would be so hard to get rid of junk but just after a couple of days getting the nutrients I SHOULD be getting, I am never hungry, I eat small meals 4x per day, and I never crave junk.

8. Most important! I've been taking a daily multivitamin, One a Day women's active vitamin (every morning), along with an Omega-3 Fish Oil 1000mg supplement (2x per day, AM and PM) The Omega-3 is something that pretty much everyone does not get enough of. It improves dry skin, it clears complexion, it evens skin tone. (If you decide on starting a Fish Oil supplement, be careful because some brands are not as pure as others, and may contain toxins and metals found in the fish. Make sure if you pick up an oil that it says "Molecularly distlled to remove pesticides, PCB's and heavy metals." I like Natrol Omega-3 Fish Oil. It's definitely a bit more expensive, but there's no way I'm putting toxins and metals into my body. Get the lemon flavored ones as well. It cuts back on "fish burps" XP

9. I've also been running! The exertion and sweat from running has totally been clearing my complexion up as well.

10. Don't forget the SPF moisturizer in the day! I use Aveeno calming lotion w/SPF every morning.

11. Get 7-8 hours of sleep!

I know it sounds like a lot, but nothing has ever worked for me. I suddenly got all this motivation and my skin has NEVER looked as good as it does now.

Holy crap this was long. :X
