DIY Chocolate Anti-Aging Mask

You will without a doubt encounter a huge variety of products when searching for the best anti-aging skin care creams. Many manufactures will claim that their anti-aging skin cream can do what no other product can do. How do you know what and what not to believe?

Many of these company representatives haven’t got a clue as to if the product actually works or not. It’s not his job to know, because he is nothing more than a ‘propaganda man’. He gets paid by convincing people to buy based on the belief that he has the best anti-aging skin creams ever created.

You don’t need a sales pitch; you need factual scientific data in order to have the necessary information to compare the different products out there. Has the anti-aging skin cream been clinically tested is a question you should ask, and if so where are the results of these tests?

Also never buy a cosmetic product through a magazine or from television. Of course the ad or the celebrity spokesperson will happily tell you about all of the natural ingredients that make theirs the absolute best anti-aging skin creams available.

What they won’t tell you is that the ad you’re currently looking at was paid for by money the company saved by using all of the expense cutting chemical additives they lace their anti-aging skin creams with. Many of these chemicals could possibly harm or irritate your skin. Others could simply kill you.

They didn’t forget to mention shipping and handling charges or about the 4 to 6 weeks you’ll have to wait for delivery did they? So how can the producers of the so-called best anti-aging skin care creams forget to tell you about the possibility of harmful side effects from using their products? Could the horrible truth be that they didn’t forget, they just don’t care?

The use of all natural, healthy ingredients would be better from a health perspective. These natural ingredients are more costly, and the makers of these anti-aging skin creams see it only from a financial perspective.

Besides, even though the chemicals in their product could possibly be harmful, they are not required by law to warn the buying public about them. These are health related products, how come the Food and Drug Administration allows them to get away with this? Funny you should ask.

Even though technically cosmetic goods are health related products, the makers of the “best anti-aging skin care creams” are not bound by FDA regulation. This is because even though these anti-aging skin care creams are absorbed through the skin and into the bloodstream, they are topical and not orally introduced.

Leave it to bureaucratic reasoning to come up with a distinction like that. Control actually falls to the Federal Trade Commission whose regulation of the industries under them is vaguely reminiscent of the Keystone Cops.

Remember to do your homework when it comes to finding the best anti-aging skin creams out there. Look for all natural ingredients and no additives or fragrances, and I’m sure you’ll be just fine.

Help answer the question about Anti Aging

What is a good skin firming/anti aging face cream?
I am 22, almost 23, and when I was younger, I was out in the sun and never wore sunscreen. I know I will have some long term affects, such as wrinkles, and now that I am older, I want to try to take better care of my skin and keep it looking younger.

So what are some good anti aging skin firming creams that are good to use long term?

Any moisturizer that contains sunscreen is great in preventing wrinkles.

I have so many products in my bathroom (I like to try it all…lol). I currently wash my face with Olay Regenerist and then use the Thermal Skin Polisher (which heats up with water, it's like a mini chemical peel). I moisturize with Loreal Wrinkle Decrease. My foundation has a spf. My routine changes constantly.

I also love Clinique's Dramatically Different moisturizer and Dermalogica's Active Moist.

The key is to eat right, drinks lots of water, and moisturize :)

Haha, hope you enjoyed the mask!

  • Estee Lauder is good. If you like it then there's no reason to change. However, anti-aging is a multi-faceted thing. It starts with good health by not smoking, very little alcohol if any, exercise, eating good food, etc. I have found that if you abuse your body within, that no anti aging formula is going to make up for it on the outside.
So, with that said, fighting free-radical damage in the skin with Vitamins A,E, and C are good starters. Vitamin A in the form of Retinoic Acid, Vitamin C serums, and creams laced with Vitamin E have confirmed that they do help slow down the aging of the skin.
If you are using any high end skin product with vitamins in it, good moisture binding ingredients, and are doing routine exfoliating, you should be getting more than adequate pampering for your skin.

I ate it befor i could put it on.lol. but then i made another one and my skin felt great after.!

  • TraclynYeoh says:

That’s absolutely fine. Anti-aging skincare doesn’t have to start with any number. Just go for it when you think you need to.

  • TraclynYeoh says:

Just make sure it’s 100% cocoa but I wouldn’t recommend it.

  • TraclynYeoh says:

I might try with aspirin one day. Thanks to you too!

    1. Loss of strength, especially in limbs.
    2. Hearing will begin to fade.
    3. Your on more than 4 prescriptions at one time.
    4. You realize that its ridiculous to drive past 55 mph.
    5. Joins creak and ache.
    6. A smiling child whose name escapes you, calls you "grandpa"
    7. You wake up early in the morning to find the clocks broken and stuck at 1:00

If you want to combat anti-aging, do nothing, and get off the prescriptions.

i haven't used them but my mom, who is 49, uses Artistry Time Defiance products. they are a little more expensive then the drug store brands but they're definitely worth their value! And Artistry also has a 100% guarantee of satisfaction. : )

    30+

or when you start seeing the first signs of wrinkles i guess.

you are 21. you should not worry about that. just continue taking care of your skin by cleaning it, avoiding foundation that clogs your pores, and using your sunscreen. enjoy your youthful skin good luck! :-)

  • TraclynYeoh says:

Yeap! That is why I changed into a larger bowl when I’m blend all the ingredients.

  • lilaandtroy says:

    can i use chocolate syrup

  • TraclynYeoh says:

Any skin type should be alright.

  • It's never too early. The most important thing is sunscreen!
Sun damage starts when you are exposed to the sun which is usually when you are a baby unless you've never been outside since.
Don't listen to the comments that wrinkles start when your 30+, because once they start it's too late and it means you haven't been taking care of yourself! You'll thank me when you're 35 and wrinkle free!

  • It's so nice of you to want to buy your Mom a good anti-aging/anti wrinkle cream.

I think buying a cream or surface treatment is so much better than getting surgery or using Botox.

When I select my anti-aging products, I tend to look for a few things:

    1) are there proven results?
    2) can I get a trial or sample (so I know it will work before I spend a lot of money)
    3) are the results as good as Botox or even better? (I want to get really great results without the pain or hassle)
    4) decide what you want to focus on treating (age spots, wrinkles, sagginess- or all of the above)
    5) decide how often you want to apply the treatment and how long it should take (I don't like to sit around for hours- I want something I can use quickly and then get on with the rest of my day)
